We’re all guitarists with many years experience of playing and servicing of all types of guitars and other stringed instruments. Maintenance
Just like a car, your guitar will benefit greatly from a regular service. Not only will this keep it feeling and playing at it’s best, it will alert you to any deterioration & prevent further problems occurring.
As a guitar is constructed mainly from wood, it can be affected by the variety of environments it is used in. Over time, temperature and moisture changes can have an effect on the playability of the instrument, from buzzing strings or raised actions to ‘crackly electrics’.
